Our GF Apple Sour Slice is a made with a baked vanilla slice base, topped with apples & a creamy sour cream egg mixture then baked again. Once set this slice gets sprinkled generously with cinnamon.
Or convert to an apricot sour slice by swapping the apples with apricots.
Our slices get baked in a 9”/9” square tin and cut into 12 dessert, 16 morning tea or 24 bite size pieces.
I recommend consuming this slice within 3 days due to the eggs. Or this slice can be frozen.
