Dehydrated sourdough starter 

Simple instructions 

Instructions are a guide only, just use a few pieces of dehydrated starter and rehydrated with a little lukewarm water until dissolved (might take a few hours) then stir in 1 tablespoon of plain flour. 
Add more water if needed, until you have a thick custard consistency.

Place the lid on top but don’t screw it shut. 

Leave your starter until you see bubbles, then continue with the feeding. 

Once your starter is happily active, you must feed it each day - twice a day. 

If you don’t want to feed it every day, feed it and place it in the refrigerator to sleep until you want to use it.
